Native iOS beta 0.1.0
EverCycle iOS beta privacy
Updated 6 October 2026. This notice applies to the native EverCycle iOS beta 0.1.0.
Who operates EverCycle
EverCycle is operated personally by Alakshendra Swarup. Contact: alakshendraswarup@gmail.com.
On your iPhone
Pantry information and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone. Receipt text recognition uses Apple Vision on the device. This build has no EverCycle account, backend, advertising, analytics or tracking, and no remote push notifications. Optional reminders are local notifications, enabled with your permission and controlled in iOS notification settings.
Receipt photos are processed in memory. EverCycle does not write a receipt-image file or save camera captures to Photos. A photo you select from your existing library remains there. Recognition and review state is cleared when the review closes or an image is replaced. Grocery fields you confirm, including reviewed item names, are saved in the pantry.
This is not a promise of secure memory erasure or deletion of photos or caches managed by iOS.
Your data controls
Deleting an individual pantry record requires confirmation and removes it from the current pantry. Items logged as used or wasted remain in History. This native beta has no backup, restore, import, export or bulk-clear feature. EverCycle has no server copy or cloud sync.
Your device backup may include app data depending on your Apple settings. In-app deletion does not erase device backups. To remove the app and its local data, use iOS Delete App; offloading keeps app data. Manage existing backups separately through Apple.
Support and TestFlight
If you email support, your email address, message and any attachments are handled through Gmail. If you test using TestFlight, Apple automatically collects and shares beta crash and usage information with the developer; submitted feedback and associated details are also shared. This is separate from the app’s own behavior. Read Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.
Alakshendra uses information received through these channels only to provide support and troubleshoot the beta, with no marketing reuse or onward sharing. Developer-held support information is deleted when no longer needed for that purpose. Apple and Google process information under their own policies; this notice does not set their retention periods. Read Google’s privacy policy.
Send only the information needed for your issue and avoid unrelated personal details in receipts or screenshots. Email alakshendraswarup@gmail.com for questions or requests about developer-held support information.
External links and scope
Opening the Food Standards Australia New Zealand food-safety information takes you to its external website, which has its own privacy practices.
This notice describes the native iOS beta only. It does not describe the separate browser-based pilot or every operation of evercycleapp.com. The website waitlist asks for an email address and optional name; the native-app statements above do not mean the website collects no information. Changes to native-app practices will be reflected on this page.
